Soccer Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Chazy

Waterford-Halfmoon kept up with Chazy until halftime on Saturday, but afterwards: not so much. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Fordians. The result was nothing new for Chazy, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

Jack McAuliffe and Landon Duprey scored all four of Chazy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The win was the fifth in a row for Chazy, bringing their record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five matchups. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Chazy will head out to face off against Seton Catholic Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Stillwater on the 15th.
