Volleyball Recap: Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Takes a Loss

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Parkston Trojans. The Blackhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Parkston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will take on Sunshine Bible Academy on Saturday. As for Parkston, they will square off against Gregory at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
