Biggs fell victim to Maxwell and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Biggs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Biggs' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Maxwell, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Biggs will square off against Lindhurst at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Maxwell will be paying especially close attention to the Wolverines' game: after the Wolverines faces off against the Blazers, they'll take on Maxwell again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
