The Centennial Eagles will square off against the Jupiter Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Centennial has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Centennial is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let St. Cloud get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

The result came thanks to Makayla Megnauth's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Centennial's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rayne Cohen, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Meanwhile, Jupiter had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Braves as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Warriors have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Avalowe Fitzgerald made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Jupiter hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive contests.
Centennial's record is now 10-13. As for Jupiter, their record now sits at 21-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Centennial has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Jupiter struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Centennial suffered a grim 19-2 defeat to Jupiter in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
