Baseball Recap: Cheyenne Wells Tigers vs. Manzanola Bobcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holly, Cheyenne Wells was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Manzanola Bobcats as they made off with a 14-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the game before.
Marcus Bogenhagen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
