Terry Sanford extended their postseason success on Thursday against J.H. Rose. They put the hurt on the Rampants with a sharp 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 16 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Jonathan Pate spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Josh Mozingo was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Moore, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Terry Sanford lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Terry Sanford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 24 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for J.H. Rose, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-4.

As of now, neither Terry Sanford nor the Rampants have any future games scheduled.
