Volleyball Recap: Western Alamance Starts Season with Win Against Southwest Guilford

Western Alamance took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Southwest Guilford Cowboys. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Western Alamance had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-19.

Coming up, Western Alamance will square off against Rockingham County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwest Guilford, they will head out on the road to challenge Southeast Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
