Basketball Recap: Amite Comes Up Short

Amite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-46 loss at the hands of the Albany Hornets. The Warriors lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in February of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-46 score last time.

Amite's defeat dropped their record down to 6-30. As for Albany, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-17-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Amite will take on Bogalusa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Albany, they will head out to take on Springfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points in their last 14 games.
