Volleyball Recap: Arp Takes a Loss

Arp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Troup, falling 3-0. Arp was not able to make up for their loss to Troup from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-11.

Kinley Schminkey paced Arp's offense, picking up four kills. Schminkey got some help from Landry Langley and her seven assists.

Arp's defeat dropped their record down to 20-17. As for Troup, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Arp is set to challenge their familiar foe White Oak at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Troup will square off against rival Tatum at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
