Softball Recap: Kennedale Comes Up Short

Kennedale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Godley, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Godley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.

Kennedale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Godley, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kennedale is set to square off against their familiar foe Alvarado at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Godley will challenge rival Ferris at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
