             The Vian Wolverines will challenge the Morris Eagles at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Vian has eight straight  victories, Morris has eight straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Last Friday, Vian took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  56-13 win over Wilburton. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by 29  points or more this season.
 The match pitted two dominant  backs against one another in  Masyn Wright and  Jason Wilkett. Wright had a great game and rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile,  Wilkett was balling out in the loss, rushing for 216 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries.
 Vian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 305  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 185  rushing yards in eight consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile,  a  victory for Morris just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were  outmatched by Valliant at home  and fell  42-6.
 Vian's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Morris, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
