Midland lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Powers Catholic, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Chemics never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The Chemics might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Midland and bumps their season record up to 10-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Powers Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Midland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-3 victory against East Lansing on the 9th. Powers Catholic has also already played their next game (against Durand), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
