Recap: Wilson Hall Barons vs. Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Wilson Hall Barons, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 28-6 walloping at the hands of Hilton Head Christian Academy on Saturday. Wilson Hall's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Dylan Clark, who rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Clark is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Tyshon Mansell was another key contributor, picking up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Hilton Head Christian Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Jackson Conrad and his two sacks.
Wilson Hall's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Wilson Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hilton Head Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
