Soccer Game Preview: University vs. Apopka + Official Tickets

The University Cougars are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Apopka Blue Darters at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. University's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

University is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against East River on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Apopka kept a clean sheet against Horizon on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hawks.

University's draw gives them a new season record of 0-2-1. As for Apopka, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3-1.

University skirted past Apopka 2-1 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
