Dekaney's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Aldine Mustangs 63-31. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Maya Shotwell was nothing short of spectacular: she went 13 of 27 en route to 32 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kimora Scranton, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Dekaney smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Aldine only pulled down six offensive boards.

Dekaney moved to 2-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Aldine, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Dekaney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-7 defeat against Westfield on the 13th. As for Aldine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-10 loss against Nimitz on the 13th.
