Flatonia is 9-1 against Fayetteville since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Flatonia will host Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. Flatonia will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Flatonia was able to grind out a solid win over Ganado, taking the game 7-3.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville hadn't done well against Shiner recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Fayetteville walked away with a 4-1 victory over Shiner.

Jack Schley made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Schley wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kandon Kaspar, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Brody Dooley was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Flatonia's win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
