For the first time in his career, Bergen Birkeland scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 30 receiving yards and one score, helping propel Westminster Christian past Marathon by a score of 56-0. Birkeland's big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Coming up, Birkeland and Westminster Christian will take on Pine Crest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Birkeland had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in September of 2024 16-9.
