Volleyball Recap: Medina Christian Academy Victorious

The Medina Christian Academy Knights earned a 3-1 win over the Heritage Classical Academy Griffins on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Medina Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-24, 20-25, 25-22.

Hailey Mendrea paced Medina Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mendrea got some help from Ally Glau and her 19 assists. Glau and Mendrea didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

Medina Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Heritage Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Medina Christian Academy will welcome Warrensville Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage Classical Academy, they will head out to challenge Kingsway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
