After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arleta, Gardena was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 67-36 blowout they got against the Monroe Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since December 5, 2024.

Gardena's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Monroe, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gardena will venture away from home to face off against Carson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gardena has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Monroe, they will take on Poly at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Poly's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
