Baseball Recap: Rudder Comes Up Short

Rudder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Brenham Cubs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cubs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-5 on Tuesday.

Rudder saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Gray, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Rudder's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14-2. As for Brenham, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9-1.

As of now, neither Rudder nor the Cubs have any future games scheduled.
