Baseball Recap: Griffith Panthers vs. Hammond Morton Governors
Griffith had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Hammond Morton Governors 10-3. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jackson Davenport made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.
