Softball Game Preview: Albemarle Patriots vs. Fluvanna County Flying Flucos

The Albemarle Patriots will face off against the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Albemarle is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Albemarle fell victim to Orange County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Fighting Hornets.

Meanwhile, Fluvanna County posted their closest victory since May 16, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past Western Albemarle 7-5. The Flying Flucos haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fluvanna County's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Albemarle, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
