DJ Cain leads Cartersville to victory over Dalton

Recap: Cartersville Hurricanes vs. Dalton Catamounts
The Cartersville Hurricanes won the last time they faced the Dalton Catamounts, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Cartersville came out on top against Dalton by a score of 49-41.
DJ Cain continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Nas Bennett was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Cartersville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season. As for Dalton, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-10.
Cartersville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Cass at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Cass focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Dalton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hiram at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Hiram has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
