High School of the Future waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They escaped with a win against the Freire Charter Dragon by the margin of a single free throw, 44-43. Given High School of the Future's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while Freire Charter is ranked 325th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

High School of the Future's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Gray, who posted 21 points. With that strong performance, Gray is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Malik Jones, who put up 13 points.

High School of the Future's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game.
