Volleyball Recap: McCool Junction Takes a Loss

McCool Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 40th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Twin River Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

McCool Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-25. As for Twin River, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-19 record this season.

McCool Junction didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against East Butler on the 20th. As for Twin River, they will head out on the road to square off against Nebraska Lutheran at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
