Owen Jenks was a major factor in Independence's victory over Brooklyn on Monday. Jenks made a splash, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. It looks like he has Brooklyn's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Jenks has become a key player for Independence: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
