Basketball Recap: Allegan Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Allegan duked it out with Parchment on Tuesday. The Allegan Tigers took a 26-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parchment Panthers. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Allegan's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Parchment, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allegan will face off against South Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Allegan's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so South Haven's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Parchment, they will host Hackett Catholic Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hackett Catholic Prep will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Parchment surely won't give up without a fight.
