Baseball Recap: Bridge Creek Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lindsay on Monday, Bridge Creek came back down to earth. The Bridge Creek Bobcats fell just short of the Broken Bow Savages by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday.

Bridge Creek's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-3. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Broken Bow, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Bridge Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Cameron on the 19th. As for Broken Bow, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Meeker on the 19th.
