Animo Robinson won the last time they faced Gertz-Ressler and things went their way on Friday too. Animo Robinson blew past Gertz-Ressler 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Monarchs.

While Animo Robinson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 28-26, 25-8.

Despite the loss, Gertz-Ressler saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emilio Garcia had 16 digs.
