They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Luke's Storm, sneaking past 7-6. Seven seems to be a good number for the Hornets as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Amato Civitello made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hamden Hall Country Day is 7-2 when Civitello allows two or fewer hits, but 8-10 otherwise. Civitello was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one double.
