San Tan Charter came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the ALA - Mesa North Mavericks 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: San Tan Charter took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-15.

Peyton Schwinden paced San Tan Charter's offense, picking up 11 kills. Schwinden got some help from Ella Shoap and her 19 assists. Shoap was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

San Tan Charter's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for ALA - Mesa North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

San Tan Charter and ALA - Mesa North will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Roadrunners see the court they'll take on Arete Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for ALA - Mesa North, their break will end when they face Phoenix Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
