Baseball Recap: Texas Wind Victorious

Texas Wind had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hubbard Jaguars 4-2.

The team relied heavily on Asa Smith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Looking ahead, Texas Wind will take on Hillsboro in a tournament on Friday. As for Hubbard, they will be taking part in a tournament against Eustace at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
