Baseball Recap: J.P. McCaskey Takes a Loss

J.P. McCaskey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Muhlenberg Muhls. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornados of the 12-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

J.P. McCaskey saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johansel Florentino, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

J.P. McCaskey's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Muhlenberg, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

J.P. McCaskey didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-0 defeat against Cedar Crest on the 13th. As for Muhlenberg, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-5 win against Fleetwood on the 13th.
