Meanwhile, Heritage blew past Rock Springs Christian Academy, posting a 78-40 win. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Rock Springs Christian Academy are ranked 284th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. As for Furtah Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 20-5.
