Basketball Recap: Charlestown Comes Up Short

Charlestown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boston Latin Academy Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, with their most recent loss being a 51-30 defeat last Saturday.

Charlestown's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Boston Latin Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Charlestown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-56 victory against North on the 15th. Boston Latin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
