Baseball Recap: Pavilion Takes a Loss

Pavilion managed to slip by Le Roy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Gophers lost 9-2 to the Oatkan Knights on Tuesday. The game marked the Golden Gophers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pavilion's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Le Roy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Pavilion and Le Roy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Golden Gophers (ranked 239th) will meet Warsaw (ranked 544th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Le Roy will square off against Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (109 vs. 432).
