Softball Recap: Berlin/New Lebanon Comes Up Short

Berlin/New Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 16-0 to the Hoosick Falls Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-4 last Wednesday.

Berlin/New Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hoosick Falls, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Berlin/New Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hoosick Falls, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against La Salle Institute at 4:30 p.m. The Panthers are facing the Cadets at the right time seeing as the Cadets are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
