Malden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-7 to the East Prairie Eagles. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Green Wave's highest-scoring contest to date.

Malden's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East Prairie, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
