While Mount Pleasant's victory against Forest Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Yellow Jackets 3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since September 4th.

Mount Pleasant wouldn't go down easily and took Forest Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a 20-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-27, 25-10, 25-5.

Maeson Krieg paced Mount Pleasant's offense, picking up 14 kills. Krieg got some help from Jaydan Brafford and her 36 assists. Raegan Boyd and Izzy Gilmore kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Mount Pleasant's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-12. As for Forest Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.
