Softball Recap: Del Norte Takes a Loss

Del Norte managed to slip by Granite Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Del Norte lost 9-0 to Granite Hills on Friday. The Nighthawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Del Norte saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Kyles, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Del Norte's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Granite Hills, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-9-1 record.

Coming up, Del Norte will be playing at home against Mira Mesa at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Granite Hills, they will face off against Valhalla at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
