After a string of three wins, Nemaha Central's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 66-45 to the Rock Creek Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Mustangs are ranked seventh).

Nemaha Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Rock Creek, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Nemaha Central has already played their next contest (against Haysville Campus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rock Creek, they will venture away from home to take on Silver Lake on Tuesday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
