Softball Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Junction City Tigers. Considering the last time the Pirates couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16-1. As for Junction City, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Marshfield by a score of 13-10 later that day.
