Volleyball Recap: Arcadia Comes Up Short at Home Against Miller City

Arcadia unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Miller City Wildcats on Saturday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-8.

Payton Michel was nothing short of spectacular for Miller City: she had 11 digs and six aces. Michel is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 25 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season.

Arcadia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lakota on the 18th. As for Miller City, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Elida on the 19th.
