Soccer Recap: Trigg County Comes Up Short

If Trigg County was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Christian County on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Murray Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Trigg County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Murray are ranked 13th).

Trigg County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Murray, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-0-1.

Trigg County has already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Fort Campbell on the 2nd. As for Murray, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Calloway County on the 28th.
