Volleyball Recap: Highland's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Highland entered their tilt with Gilbert on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Tigers 3-0. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Highland took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.

Highland couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 46.1% of their attack attempts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hitting percentage total in three consecutive games.

Highland's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-9-1. As for Gilbert, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Highland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Williams Field on the 17th. As for Gilbert, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Desert Ridge on the 17th.
