Sherman Oaks CES is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Jefferson get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Yael Temoxtle had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out West Adams 2-1. The result kept the Romans happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 27th.

Los Angeles is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. Sherman Oaks CES pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
