You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Mead's strategy against Frederick on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mead Mavericks blew the Frederick Golden Eagles out of the water with a 54-19 final score. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mead to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madi Clark, who went 7 for 9 on her way to 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Darby Haley, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points and five steals.

Mead pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Frederick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Mead will face off against Niwot at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. Mead is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season. As for Frederick, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-28 win against Legacy on the 21st.
