Basketball Game Preview: Duncan Wildkats vs. Hayden Lobos

The Duncan Wildkats will head out to take on the Hayden Lobos at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Duncan's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so Hayden's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Duncan's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Fort Thomas offense got past them. Duncan was dealt a 60-27 loss at the hands of Fort Thomas on Tuesday. It was the first time this season that the Wildkats let down their fans at home.

Meanwhile, Hayden played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 44-17 loss at the hands of Valley Lutheran. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hayden now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Duncan, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4.

Duncan barely slipped by Hayden in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 20-19. Does Duncan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hayden turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
