Softball Recap: South Kitsap Has No Trouble Against Curtis

After only one run in their last matchup, South Kitsap made sure to put some runs up on the board against Curtis on Thursday. South Kitsap put the hurt on Curtis with a sharp 19-1 win. The Wolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Maleah Sawyers was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eva Spencer, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

The victory got South Kitsap back to even at 2-2. As for Curtis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
