Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-8 to the Seminole Indians. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Seminole, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Roosevelt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Muleshoe at 5:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Seminole, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Lake View on the 1st.
